On every Italian table at Christmas time you will find a Panettone or Pandoro. The Panettone or Pandoro is brought out when family and friends come to visit during the festive season. It’s simply delicious toasted with butter or enjoyed just plain with a good cup of coffee. It is also used to make some mouth-watering recipes.

Bauli

Bauli Panettone is all-natural and made with butter, sugar and eggs, sweet raisins and glazed orange peels. It has a distinct and festive look being baked in its own cylindrical mold.

Bauli Pandoro is leavened for 40 hours using a “mother dough” that allows it to rise naturally, keeping it fresh for much longer than regular bread or cakes. It has no preservatives and is absolutely delicious.

Scarpato

Scarpato respects the traditional method of making Pandoro and Panettone and uses a white “mother dough” handed down from 1888. The Scarpato brand is beautifully wrapped and is a truly gorgeous product. Buy one of these and your present shopping is done. They even come with a Scarpato paper carry bag. Scarpato is a little pricier than some others, but if you have tried Scarpato before then you understand why.
