Food safety and addressing any concerns about our product


To our valued clients, customers, family and friends.

You have probably read that we have been named in an article exposing food safety concerns in Brisbane. We are deeply concerned by this, as we hold a commitment in producing not only a quality product, but ensuring our hygiene and maintenance is of impeccable standards.

The incident reported refers to an episode which happened after heavy rain and floods in 2012. We commissioned an independent Microbiological Lab who undertakes our regular food testing. All products were tested and deemed safe, free from contamination and safe for human consumption.

Following the floods, a representative from council returned to do an audit and told us that we have excellent food management practices. The image in question from 2012 is of a tray that was not in use, nor near any food what-so-ever.

Angelo’s Pasta are passionate about food safety. We are audited monthly by quality HACCP Auditors, and at any one time we have nine, formally trained food safety supervisors on site. This added accreditation has been our own initiative and a program which has been running since 2008.

Our product is safe and there is no concern to throw anything away.
